Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist to a school-based setting near Westbrook, ME. You'll work closely with a caseload of 20 students, supporting a range of communication skill development while collaborating in an engaged, educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid and active SLP license in Maine Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desired Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' communication abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver targeted therapy—in both one-on-one and small group settings—for students with varied communication strengths and challenges Track progress, maintain accurate records, and update documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals and participate in meetings as needed Provide resources and guidance to staff and families to foster skill generalization beyond the classroom Maintain a supportive and positive environment tailored to diverse learners This contract opportunity offers a chance to work with a motivated student population and dedicated education professionals in Portland.
