Aug 25, 2026 Job Description Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to provide evaluation services, direct intervention, and consultation services for students in grades PreK
  • 3. Understanding of Maine Special Education Law regarding Speech/Language Services is required. Experience in the completion of Speech Language Impairment Eligibility form. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provision of case management services to students identified under Speech/Language Impairment
  • Writing IEPs given student needs based on evaluation data
  • Providing direct services to students
  • Providing consultation services for students to IEP team members, including special education and regular education teachers
  • Participation on District-Wide Speech PLC team
  • Participation on building-based PLC teams, including grade-level teams, special education teams, RtI teams as needed
  • Direct consultation with outside Speech Therapy agencies
  • Support of Students using AAC devices
  • Billing MaineCare for speech sessions as required
