Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a travel assignment supporting Extended School Year (ESY) services for a K-12 student population in Adrian, MI. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language therapy within a school setting, working closely with students requiring comprehensive communication support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to K-12 students during ESY Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to support students' communication needs Develop and implement therapeutic plans based on student assessments and goals Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure effective communication strategies and progress monitoring Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and state regulationsQualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Pediatric experience with a focus on school-based therapy Completion or current status as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP preferred Familiarity and hands-on experience with AAC devices and strategies within educational settings Ability to adapt to varied student needs across K-12 grade levelsLocation:
Travel position based in Adrian, Michigan, working within a school environment during the ESY period Working in this role offers the opportunity to impact student communication skills substantially, contributing to their academic success and daily interaction capabilities.
