Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Taylor, Michigan. This is a full-time, in-person position serving a K-12 student population within a school-based setting. The ideal candidate is committed to helping students achieve their communication goals and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Monitor and report student progress regularly
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Michigan SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous school-based experience is preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
