Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful opportunity serving K-12 students in a vibrant school community near Ann Arbor, MI. This full-time contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, dedicated to supporting learners' unique communication needs within a collaborative, student-centered environment. Part-time applicants are welcome, offering additional flexibility for your career and lifestyle. Bring your passion for advancing education as you provide speech-language pathology services onsite to a diverse caseload of K-12 students. This position welcomes both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFs) with an active Michigan SLP license eager to make a difference.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP-CF Experience in school-based or pediatric settings (preferred, not required) Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and a collaborative mindset Ability to work onsite and willingness to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Open to travel professionals seeking new school-based assignments
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students in K-12, developing and implementing individualized intervention plans Conduct assessments, write and review IEPs, and collaborate with teaching and support staff Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student progress Foster an engaging, inclusive atmosphere that encourages academic and social growth Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary team members This opportunity offers a meaningful way to grow professionally while making a direct impact for students and teams near Ann Arbor.
