Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for the 2026-2027 school year to support students with speech and language needs in a school setting located in Brooklyn, MI. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals with various availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering individualized speech-language therapy services. Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication skills. Utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices to support students with complex communication needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required. Prior experience working in a school setting as an SLP. Skilled in AAC device usage and therapy integration.
