Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional pediatric services in a school setting based in Canton, MI. This contract position offers flexibility with options for 4-5 days per week or part-time hours, focusing on lower elementary students. The role involves working onsite, delivering one-on-one and small group therapy to support a caseload of approximately 52 students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in lower elementary students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Clinical Certification (CCC-SLP) Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within a school environment Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or demonstrated competence equivalent Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 52 students effectively
