Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful role serving young learners in a supportive educational environment near Cassopolis, MI. This contract assignment presents a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a current CCC-SLP credential in Michigan. You'll engage with a diverse group of students, primarily in PreK, with some K-5, and minimal involvement with middle and high schoolers, providing a chance to develop broad professional experience. This position spans from now until June 5, 2026, offering flexibility in scheduling: choose 20 to 35 hours per week across 3 to 5 days, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life. The caseload ranges from 30 to 50 students, with various primary disabilities, ensuring variety in your daily work and opportunities to make a tangible impact in students' communication development.
Qualifications:
Active CCC-SLP certification in Michigan School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required Passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs Strong organizational and communication skills
What You'll Do:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language services across PreK, elementary, and occasional middle/high school students Develop IEPs and maintain appropriate documentation Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes Adapt interventions for students with a wide range of primary disabilities Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
