Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a genuine difference for students every day in an engaging school environment near Detroit, MI! This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) who thrives in diverse educational settings. You'll work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to help students overcome unique communication challenges and achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license and CCC certification required Prior experience in school-based therapy preferred Demonstrated skill supporting students with a variety of needs Excellent communication and organizational abilities Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teamsRole Responsibilities:
Manage four self-contained caseloads, providing direct speech/language therapy Support multiple students in the nursery setting (nsy) with individualized plans Conduct assessments to determine speech and language needs Develop, adapt, and implement IEP goals tailored to each student Monitor and document progress for effective intervention Collaborate with educators and families to promote progress in speech and language skills Offer consultation and training to staff as neededBenefits and Perks:
