Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting their communication and language development! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a flexible, part-time contract role serving school-aged children. This position is perfect for professionals interested in a manageable schedule of approximately 8-10 hours per week, spread over two days. Your expertise will help students unlock their full potential, collaborating with educators and families to provide the highest level of service. Whether you're a seasoned SLP-CCC or a motivated Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), your talents can make a true impact in an educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible state licensure as anSLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered School-based experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamKey Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for assigned students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals Document treatment progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school guidelines Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of skills Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development as required This flexible part-time opportunity allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a positive difference in a supportive school environment.
