Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This school-based SLP role is perfect for professionals who thrive in educational settings and are passionate about helping young learners communicate more effectively. Work full-time during the school year, from August 18, 2026, through June 11, 2027, providing essential speech and language services to students in need.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid SLP licensure for Michigan or eligibility to obtain Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Committed to evidence-based practices and tailored interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging speech-language therapy to students based on individual education plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete all required reports Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student planning Consult and provide resources to staff and parents regarding communication disorders
