Duncan Lake Therapy Collective is a small, private multi-disciplinary therapy practice based in Grand Rapids, MI. Our goal is to provide high-quality client-centered, collaborative speech and language services to all of our clients. Right now, we are looking for an in-person school SLP to work with a district in Kent County. The position is for 8-12 weeks, though our goal is to keep this SLP on-board for the entirety of the school year for school-based work. If this sounds appealing, please read on! Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Both CCCs and CFs will be considered for this position Current Michigan state licensure Ability to drive and be in-person at a school. Essential Skills Time management and organizational skills Self-starter and high level of initiative Engaging and thoughtful interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and their parents as well as with other team members Reliability and flexibility Dedication to anti-racism and embracing the values representation, diversity, and inclusion Job Duties and Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy in adherence to students' IEPs Maintain accurately and timely records of progress and service Open and honest communication with parents regarding progress Collaboration with school staff Are you concerned that you have never had school contracting experience before?
