Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language services in a dynamic K-12 environment! This contract opportunity offers a rewarding experience for Speech-Language Pathologists who are eager to work onsite with a diverse student population. Support the educational journey of children and collaborate closely with staff and families to create a positive impact during the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Hold current Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; open to SLP-CF candidates as well Experience working with K-12 students, or strong interest in school-based settings Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication skills to engage students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to work full time (37.5 hours/week), with consideration given to part-time applicants Must be available for onsite work; travel professionals are encouraged to apply
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for students across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with educators and special education professionals to support student success in academic and social settings Develop, maintain, and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to student needs Engage in ongoing communication with parents and staff regarding progress and intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations On this assignment, you'll have the chance to foster growth and achievement, while connecting with a supportive educational community.
