2026-2027 School Year (August 24, 2026 - June 10, 2027) Role Overview Join a dedicated Special Education School District in Marshall, MI, for the 2026-2027 academic year. We are looking for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to fill several open positions within our district. This is an opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment where candidate placement is thoughtfully determined by your specific professional experience and strengths.
Position Details Total Openings:
Several positions available.
Schedule:
Up to 40 hours per week.
Dates:
Full academic year (08/24/2026 - 06/10/2027).
Placement:
Caseloads range from K-12 . Candidates are placed in specific school buildings based on their background, skill set, and expertise. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality speech and language services to students with diverse communication needs. Collaborate with the special education team to develop and implement comprehensive IEPs. Perform evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and track progress. Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students meet their developmental goals. Maintain compliant documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements Licensure:
Must hold a valid and active Michigan (MI) Speech-Language Pathologist license .
Adaptability:
Comfort working with a K-12 population and participating in a team-oriented school environment.
Professionalism:
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively throughout the school calendar.
