1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and pediatric outpatient experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment treating infants through adolescents. Details Outpatient SLP setting with a pediatric focus, serving infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients Approximately 9 patient visits per day Specializes in Autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders Documentation systems include Wellsky and Epic Schedule options: 4x10s (Mon, Tue, Thu 7:30am-6:00pm; Fri 7:30am-5:00pm) or 5x8s (3 days 9:30am-6:00pm and 2 days 7:30am-4:00pm) No weekend shifts required Daytime shifts only Requirements Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current BLS certification Minimum 1-2 years of SLP experience required Pediatric outpatient setting experience required Experience with Autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders Knowledge of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse License required if applicable 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information Conduct assessments, evaluations, and reassessments, including SLP evaluation coding for Medicaid and other payers Develop and maintain individualized plans of care and complete discharge documentation Provide patient and family education as a core component of treatment Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy and support from interpretation services and a unit secretary First-time travelers are welcome to apply Black scrubs required All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
