1 Description American Traveler is seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and 1-2 years of experience for an outpatient pediatric role with a flexible 4x10 or 5x8 schedule and no weekends. Details Outpatient pediatric setting Patient population includes infants, pediatric, and adolescent age groups Caseload focuses on autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders Approximately 9 patient visits per day Documentation systems include Wellsky and Epic Flexible schedule options: 4x10s (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm; Friday 7:30am-5:00pm) or 5x8s (3 days 9:30am-6:00pm and 2 days 7:30am-4:00pm) No weekend shifts required Day shift position 13-week contract Requirements Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current BLS certification Valid SLP license (license required if applicable) Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a licensed SLP Pediatric outpatient setting experience required Experience with autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders Knowledge of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse Experience with patient and family education Experience with billing documentation including assessments, discharge, evaluations, Medicaid, plans of care, reassessments, and SLP evaluation coding 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Support staff includes interpretation services, physical therapy, and unit secretaries Black scrubs required All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
