Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and academic growth as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite role spans the full 26'-27' school year, with a possibility to extend through the 25-26 ESY. Two positions are available, offering the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational professionals while impacting the lives of students in grades PreK-12. You'll work 35 hours per week, primarily serving elementary and middle schoolers, with some engagement with early learners and high school students as needed. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Michigan SLP license (a current licensure screenshot will be required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Previous experience in a school-based setting, servicing a diverse student population Strong communication, organizational, and independent problem-solving skills Ability to manage all aspects of school SLP responsibilities with autonomy Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all state, district, and federal requirements Support students' participation and success across educational environments This contract assignment offers a valuable chance to make a real difference for students and families while working alongside supportive school staff.
