Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2026-2027 school year to provide specialized support in an elementary setting focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This onsite travel opportunity is located in Redford, MI, offering the chance to work closely with approximately 25 students requiring targeted speech and language services.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLP license with full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with school-aged children, especially in ASD settings Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators Ability to manage a caseload of about 25 elementary students
Location:
Onsite position in Redford, Michigan Travel required to relocate to or stay onsite for the duration of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's speech and language goals Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions focused on communication needs of students with ASD Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success and inclusion
