Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year! This full-time role begins on August 22, 2026, and continues through June 6, 2027, offering a dynamic professional experience within an elementary school setting that includes support for both general and self-contained classrooms. Bring your expertise and dedication to a collaborative school environment where your work will help shape students' communication skills, contribute to individualized education plans, and make a meaningful impact in their academic journeys.
Ideal candidates will have:
Valid SLP licensure and registration (open to Clinical Fellows and those with CCCs) Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based speech services Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention planning skills Familiarity with elementary-aged children, including those in self-contained programs Commitment to creating inclusive, positive communication environments Your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students Delivering direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in line with federal and school requirements Participating in IEP meetings and supporting students with diverse needs Staying current with best practices and innovative approaches in school speech-language therapy This 37.5-hour-per-week position balances a manageable workload with opportunities for impactful engagement across the school day. You will support a varied caseload, from mainstream elementary students to those in specialized classroom settings, enhancing both your clinical skills and school-based expertise.
