Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide essential services in a dynamic school setting in Southfield, MI. This contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development in a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state and federal guidelines Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills and academic success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Knowledge of IDEA regulations and educationally relevant speech-language goals
