Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech and language support in a vibrant school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity involves working with learners from PreK to 5th grade, fostering communication skills that will benefit them for years to come. You'll enjoy a structured schedule, support from a collaborative special education team, and the chance to make a genuine difference every day.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status School-based SLP experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children ages 3-11 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to a caseload of PreK-5th grade students Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student needs Maintain accurate records and compliance with federal, state, and building-level policies Engage in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
