The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for helping our persons served improve their communication abilities and enhance their quality of life through personalized speech therapy.Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct clinical screenings and assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders and inform treatment planning Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including goals, interventions, and expected outcomes based on prescribed care Monitor, assess, and document patient progress; adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards Educate persons served, families, and staff on conditions, treatment approaches, and strategies for self-management and prevention Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide relevant clinical updates and reporting Perform assigned administrative duties, including oversight of patient care activities, medical records, and supply management Ensure compliance with all applicable licensure, accreditation, and regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting operational excellence Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect in all interactions with patients, families, and team members Meet productivity expectations, including a minimum of 28 billable client-facing hours per weekRequirements :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in any state; willingness to obtain Michigan licensure upon hire Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injury Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and work independentlyPhysical Requirements :
Ability to sit, stand, and perform computer-based tasks for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility and personal care needs Ability to travel between multiple locations as needed Join our team and make a real difference!
