Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive school-based setting. This contract opportunity, located near Westland, MI, offers both full-time and part-time options to match your scheduling preferences. You'll work with a diverse caseload tailored to your strengths and interests—options include early intervention, elementary, or middle school students. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through the remainder of the school year. Qualifications Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required. Clinical Fellow applicants are welcome and encouraged to apply. Experience with middle school students is a plus but not mandatory. Skills in pediatric SLP services, especially within school settings, are highly desirable. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress. Deliver therapy services that support students' speech, language, and communication development. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists. Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements. Engage in professional development and stay current on best practices in school-based speech therapy.
