Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA Michigan state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and individualized therapy Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students Deliver direct therapy to students, adapting evidence-based interventions to individual needs Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive classroom communication environments Monitor student progress and document results in compliance with school and state policies Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
