Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role making a difference in school communities near Westland, MI! This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists eager to support student communication needs. Choose from full-time or part-time hours, and select from a range of caseloads including early intervention, elementary, or middle school. The position starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold a valid Michigan SLP license Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFs) and SLPs holding CCCs are both invited to apply Background in school-based services is a plus Experience with middle school populations is preferred, though not required Strong collaborative and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students in selected caseload (early intervention, elementary, or middle school) Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Deliver both direct and consultative services in accordance with students' IEP goals Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech therapy
