Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), supporting students in a dynamic school environment. Whether you bring experience in teletherapy, are fulfilling your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or are passionate about working onsite in schools or healthcare, your skills will make a real impact. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to deliver high-quality speech and language services, ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed. This setting provides the chance to work closely with a diverse group of learners, offering both challenge and reward each day.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as an SLP or SLPA (or eligibility for licensure) Experience in school-based or healthcare settings Open to CFY candidates eager to gain valuable, supervised experience Comfortable providing both onsite and teletherapy services as needed Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for supporting students with a variety of communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress Deliver services via in-person and teletherapy models Document sessions and maintain accurate records Consult regularly with educators, families, and other therapy professionals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning This contract position not only offers professional growth, but also the fulfillment that comes from empowering young learners to achieve their communication goals.
