Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Support early learners this summer in a contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with children from birth to age five. This opportunity spans from June 8th to June 25th, with a manageable schedule of morning shifts Monday through Thursday—perfect for those who value work-life balance while making a meaningful impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) session.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in Minnesota (or eligibility) CCC-SLP credential or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong interest or experience working in school-based settings with young children Familiarity with early childhood language and speech development Comfortable conducting evaluations, including with birth to age 2 Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to children birth through age five in a supportive school setting Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including assessments for children under two as needed Develop and implement therapy plans targeting individual communication goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster optimal outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring Participate in brief summer programming and adapt sessions to meet short-term ESY needs Step into a role designed for meaningful, focused interaction with young learners during the summer.
