Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specialized in pediatrics and school settings to provide essential support to elementary-aged students. This contract position, located in Burnsville, MN, offers the chance to work within one or two school buildings in Cottage Grove, serving approximately 50 students. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive speech and language services to elementary students, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educational staff to support student success. The role requires maintaining accurate documentation and participating in team meetings as necessary.
Key qualifications and experience:
Valid SLP credentials with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience in school-based speech-language pathology and pediatric caseloads Ability to work effectively in educational environments, supporting students with diverse communication needs Competency in healthcare practices related to speech therapy Open to Certificate of Fellowship (CF) candidates, provided supervision is available This contract position runs now until June 5th, with a schedule of 7.25 hours per day. It offers the opportunity to work closely with elementary-aged children in a supportive school environment while gaining valuable experience.
