Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Dedicated speech-language pathologists have the opportunity to make a substantial impact working with students in an educational setting. This contract position spans from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You will primarily work with a caseload of 20-40 students, focusing on those in setting 4, within a single building for consistency and relationship-building. Placement may involve one of several centers in the area, offering a dynamic and supportive environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience working with school-aged children required; setting 4 experience highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with students, staff, and families Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling effectively Dedication to evidence-based practices and inclusive, student-centered intervention methods
Core Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with communication and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to IEPs Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to foster student progress Maintain timely, thorough documentation of student services and progress notes Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to support overall student success This position offers the unique benefit of working in a single building with a manageable caseload, ensuring ample time to develop rapport and effect meaningful student growth across the academic year.
