RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and write corresponding evaluation reports Participate in the development, review, and revision of IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and other team members Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to address students' speech, language, fluency, and communication needs Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals into daily routines and classroom activities Maintain accurate records of services, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, strategies, and home carryover activities Maintain positive and constructive communication with staff Collaborate with special education teams to support inclusive practices and student success Maintain and report accurate student attendance and performance records Collaborate effectively with school and district staff as part of a department team and other leadership committees Ability to adhere to due process timelines and complete individualized education plan and evaluation paperwork to guide educational programming
QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
Required:
Valid State of Minnesota Educator License in Pre K-12 Speech Language Pathologist
