Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An educational institution in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for direct hire positions scheduled to begin mid-August 2026. New staff orientation will be held prior to the formal start date of August 24, 2026. These contract roles offer a weekly schedule of 38.75 hours, which includes paid lunch time. Position #1 focuses on students in grades 6 through 12, providing specialized speech and language therapy services to support communication development and academic success for adolescents. Position #2 serves a mixed caseload of elementary-age students and those in grades 6 through 12 who attend online school, requiring adaptable service delivery methods.
Key responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students in assigned grade levels Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to support online learners
Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services Skilled in teletherapy service delivery Strong interpersonal and communication skills This is an excellent opportunity to impact student outcomes in a dynamic educational environment.
