The Madison Center is a small pediatric clinic with a close-knit, collaborative team seeking a warm, collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for a maternity leave position beginning October 2026. Our clinic prioritizes family-centered care, therapist support, and meaningful relationships with our families and coworkers. We are looking for someone who values connection, collaboration, creativity, and providing high-quality pediatric therapy in a supportive environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for an SLP looking for consistent part-time hours, a manageable caseload, and strong clinical support within a close-knit clinic setting. - Thursday, 1:00-6:00 PM 20 hours/week guaranteed Hourly rate: $50
- 60/hour Paid holidays: Thanksgiving (11/26/26) and Christmas Eve (12/24/26) Clinic closed 12/28/26-12/31/26 (unpaid; negotiable) Eligible for Minnesota Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST): 1 hour per 30 hours worked; up to 48 hours/year Not eligible for health insurance benefits Responsibilities Provide pediatric speech-language therapy services Participate in collaborative co-treatment sessions with occupational therapists Complete daily documentation and quarterly progress notes Maintain communication with families and team members Support continuity of care for established clients and families Caseload & Clinic Environment Outpatient pediatric clinic setting Caseload primarily includes preschool and school-age children; variety of early language, functional communication, articulation, and AAC needs within a neurodiversity-affirming therapy approach 30-minute therapy sessions Collaborative, play-based pediatric therapy environment Strong emphasis on family involvement and interdisciplinary teamwork Quality care and sustainable workloads prioritized over high productivity demands What Makes This Position Unique Established caseload•no need to build your own schedule Two weeks of paid observation and training prior to independent treatment Gradual transition and therapist overlap for support and continuity Assistance provided with insurance credentialing and onboarding Ongoing mentorship and support from experienced therapists and clinic leadership Collaborative team atmosphere with frequent co-treatment opportunities Manageable documentation expectations and limited evaluation responsibilities Warm, family-oriented clinic culture that values work-life balance Consistent weekly hours ideal for clinicians seeking supplemental or part-time work We understand stepping into a maternity leave role can feel intimidating!
