Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based contract position in La Crescent, MN, serving students from 5th through 12th grade, with the possibility of some elementary students. This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment, providing essential speech and language services to help students succeed. The contract begins at the start of the school year and concludes at the end of the school year. For those interested, there are additional weeks available during the summer to cover Extended School Year (ESY) services.
Key Qualifications:
Hold current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Credentials may include SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or possess a School SLP certification Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting Ability to serve a diverse student population across multiple grade levels
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations for students from elementary through high school Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress Document student progress and maintain accurate records Participate in related meetings and professional development activities as required
