Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies and AAC systems as needed to maximize communication outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Stay informed about the latest developments in AAC technology, Setting IV best practices, and speech-language pathology for students with significant communication needs. Skills Proven experience working with students in Setting IV or substantially separate special education environments is required.
