Temporary Position Approximate Dates:
August 24, 2026 to November 13, 2026
Job Description:
This position will complete speech and language evaluations/due process paperwork within the Monticello Public Schools. Case manage students and provide direct and indirect services to students. The speech-language pathologist will collaborate with other service providers.
License & Experience:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Minnesota Knowledge and experience working with students with speech and language impairments Experience working students and families
Essential Skills:
Knowledge and experience completing assessments and due process and follow timeline requirements of special education Experience working with preschool and elementary aged students Experience working with technology including AAC Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred
