Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract position supporting students from PreK through 12th grade, utilizing your expertise as an SLP to make an immediate and lasting impact. This role offers a full-time schedule and a chance to work closely with a collaborative school environment near Plainview, MN. You'll provide essential speech-language services as part of a multidisciplinary team, addressing a wide range of student needs for the remainder of the school year and into the next.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience is a plus Strong understanding of communication and swallowing disorders in children and adolescents Experience providing services across PreK-12th grade populations Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse cultural and individual student needs Active state licensure (or ability to obtain)
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and document findings Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals targeting speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs Deliver direct and indirect therapy services, monitoring progress and updating goals as needed Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student growth Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate student support Maintain accurate records and adhere to all district and state guidelines This assignment runs until May 28, 2026, offering stability and the opportunity to profoundly impact students' lives.
