In this role, you will work with children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your patients through effective therapy techniques and interventions. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential as you develop personalized treatment plans. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions. Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and the ability to develop effective care plans. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices. Experience in pediatrics is a plus, particularly in early intervention strategies.
