Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting two elementary schools located just an hour south of St. Paul, MN. This position is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY) eager to make a real difference for young learners. You'll foster growth and communication skills in students while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families Passion for helping elementary-aged children reach their communication goals Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students across two schools Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs Document student progress and maintain confidential records in accordance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent support for students Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals Advocate for students' communication needs within the school community Engage in opportunities for professional development and mentorship throughout your Clinical Fellowship Year As you serve these elementary school communities, you'll cultivate meaningful relationships and advance your expertise in a supportive setting. This contract role provides the unique benefit of working in a close-knit area while staying within easy reach of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
