Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful short-term opportunity providing speech and language support in an elementary school autism program. You'll work onsite with a welcoming team, covering a maternity leave from August 17th to September 4th, 2026. This full-time role, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:40pm, offers an engaging schedule with students who benefit from your SLP expertise.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current, active SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in school-based settings, especially with autism programs, preferred Strong commitment to collaborative, student-centered practice Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in an elementary autism program Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication goals Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust approaches when necessary Contribute actively during IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary teams Maintain compliance with school and state requirements throughout your assignment This assignment is based exclusively onsite in a supportive educational community.
