Responsible for the care, safety, and wellbeing of patients during treatment sessions.
Demonstrate the ability to evaluate and develop plans of care for patients establishing goals of treatment and plan for discharge; taking into consideration the patients needs and limitations.
Consults with attending physician concerning the patients needs and limitations, goals, plan of care, progress, and discharge plans.
Perform daily documentation of each patients progress and challenges.
Maintains department records properly and completes them correctly.
Provide patients and caregivers with educational material as appropriate.
Perform monthly comprehensive summaries and weekly goal updates on each patient.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or preapproved provider.
