Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during a maternity leave from August 17, 2026, to November 9, 2026. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:40pm, and is based onsite at a resource level elementary setting. The focus will be on fostering a positive learning environment and helping students reach their full communication potential.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Active, valid SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Prior experience in school-based SLP or pediatric settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and stakeholder collaboration Ability to create supportive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to students according to IEPs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Support a positive, inclusive learning environment This position offers full immersion in a dynamic school setting where your expertise and support will make a tangible impact.
