Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference for students by providing essential speech and language support in a vibrant school environment. This full-time contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services throughout the 2026-2027 school year. As an SLP in this setting, you'll collaborate with educators and families to enhance communication skills, foster academic achievement, and support the growth and development of each student on your caseload.
What You'll Need:
Active Missouri Speech Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school-based SLP role or equivalent setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to evidence-based practices and individualized student progress
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services Document progress, maintain compliant records, and prepare required reports Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams Educate and advise school staff and families to support student development
