Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential speech-language therapy services during the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is onsite, offering the chance to work closely with a supportive school environment near Kansas City, MO. You'll be instrumental in helping students overcome communication challenges and reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) Current CCC-SLP certification Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Missouri Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Comfort working with elementary-aged children in-person Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week
What You'll Do:
Provide speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 20 elementary students Administer assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student goals Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in meetings and contribute as a valued member of the educational team Offer creative, engaging treatment sessions tailored to each student's unique needs
