Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by supporting their communication and language development for the upcoming school year. This full-time, contract speech-language pathologist opportunity offers an engaging environment working across both an elementary and a middle school setting with a manageable caseload of 50 students. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping students achieve their communication goals.
Key Details:
Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year Full-time schedule, with hours from either 8:00 AM-3:45 PM or 7:00 AM-2:45 PM Split role between an elementary school and a middle school Start date: August 24th
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Missouri Previous experience with school-aged children preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to effectively manage a caseload of 50 students Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students in both elementary and middle school settings Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educational staff and families Conduct assessments to determine eligibility and monitor progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and consult with interdisciplinary teams to support student success Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students of varied backgrounds and needs Experience the rewarding impact of helping students find their voice and maximizing their academic and social potential.
