Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students from preschool through 5th grade as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity allows you to foster communication skills in children during key developmental stages, making a meaningful difference every day. You'll work alongside other dedicated professionals in a supportive, school-based environment, serving students as they build foundational language, speech, and social skills. Your expertise will help empower young learners, equipping them for academic and personal success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active state licensure as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities Ability to adapt intervention strategies for diverse student needs Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students in preschool through 5th grade Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and families Track student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings Provide guidance, resources, and training to staff and families as needed This school-based contract role provides the chance to make a lasting impact on students at an important stage in their academic journey.
