What you will do as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP): Conduct comprehensive evaluations, then develop personalized and comprehensive treatment plans based on assessment, family goals, and evidence-based practice. Provide high quality therapy services addressing speech and language challenges, fine and gross motor difficulties, sensory integration dysfunction, etc. Implement play-based and child-centered therapy techniques to promote engagement and progress. Collaborate, educate, and coach parents or caregivers to have consistency in the child's daily life. Collaborate with the child's interdisciplinary team to ensure that they are getting the highest quality care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation including treatment notes and detailed reports. What you will need to be a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP): Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology; ASHA CCCs preferred Must have an active Mississippi Speech-Language Pathologist License or be in your Clinical Fellow (CF) year Must be able to obtain a MS Department of Health License No minimum experience!
