Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Join an educational setting in Decatur, MS, for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This in-person contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' communication skills and overall academic success.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state policies.
Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if applicable. Experience or training specifically related to school-based speech-language pathology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and team members. Ability to work effectively in an in-person school setting.
