Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Embrace an opportunity to make a significant difference in students' lives by providing high-quality therapy services in a dynamic educational setting. This onsite, contract role offers a rewarding environment for speech-language pathologists who are passionate about helping children reach their communication potential. As the district transitions from virtual to onsite services, your expertise will play a crucial role in creating a supportive, engaging experience for students and staff alike.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current CCC-SLP certification and active state licensure Prior experience working in school settings, providing speech and language services to children and adolescents Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams, staff, and families Proficiency in case management and IEP documentation Flexibility and adaptability as onsite services are reinstated
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to students with diverse communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's educational goals Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including IEPs, progress notes, and reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions regarding student interventions Provide guidance and resources to staff, assisting them with strategies for classroom integration
