Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-6 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. This contract role focuses on making a meaningful impact with a manageable caseload and a flexible schedule. Your primary responsibilities will be working with 5 students from August 31 to June 3, dividing your time between two nearby elementary sites.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative approach Ability to create personalized treatment plans and effectively track progress Responsibilities include: Assessing and identifying speech, language, and communication disorders among students in grades K-6 Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing direct therapy services tailored to each student's needs Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families for holistic student support Maintaining progress reports and upholding all required documentation Serving roughly half a day weekly at one elementary and one full day at upper west shore elementary, allowing for a balanced schedule What you'll enjoy: The chance to work closely with a small caseload of students, providing targeted, high-quality interventions The stability and clarity of a school-year calendar, with predefined start and end dates Opportunities to collaborate with dedicated teams at two supportive school environments A contract-based structure offering professional growth and meaningful impact If you're passionate about fostering student development and seeking an engaging, part-time contract opportunity for the upcoming school year, we invite you to apply today!
