Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, making a difference for students across multiple campus locations. In this full-time position, you'll work with a dynamic population, providing direct, in-person speech services in educational settings, collaborating closely with staff and families to support each student's individual needs. This rewarding role spans from early childhood to middle school, offering a diverse, enriching professional experience.
What We're Looking For:
Active NCDPI Speech-Language Pathologist License (please submit documentation with your application) Certification as an SLP-CCC and experience in K-12 or PreK school environments Proficiency and confidence using ECATS for special education documentation Previous participation in IEP meetings and the ability to conduct evaluations, screenings, and write annual goals, present levels of performance Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt across settings (elementary to middle school) and age rangesYour Daily Impact:
Deliver tailored speech-language therapy services to students in a face-to-face school setting Participate in and contribute expertise at IEP meetings as an engaged team member Perform screenings, assessments, and help guide the implementation of individualized education plans Develop present levels of performance and comprehensive, measurable annual goals for student progress Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student success This is a full-time, 37.5 hours/week contract opportunity spanning the full school year, with three positions available.
